......... She is a granny who loves her grandchildren. She tells them true stories of her past and not-so-true stories just for fun. She visits them at school and reads books to their classes.

......... For more than thirty years, she has studied about writing for children. She has read books and websites, attended workshops, taken courses, and she puts all that learning into every children's story she writes.

......... For two years, she was the Children's Corner Imprint Editor for 4RV Publishing. That means she was in charge of all the children's books that were published during that time. It was her job to oversee the authors and editors as they worked to make each book as special as it could be.
